When a company can be found well on Google, it will lead to many new customers.
But it is also important to use the “classic” way of advertising. By this we mean printed matter, which has been used for thousands of years to convey messages to a wider audience. Printed matter is increasingly being used today to make it easier for customers to navigate to and recognise shops. For example, beach flags are appearing in front of more and more shops, allowing customers to recognise the shop from a great distance and also contributing to the branding.
The most important thing about having your own clothing brand is, of course, the product you are actually going to market. You have to think carefully about a range of products and what you are going to include; jumpers, shirts, socks etc. . Besides that, you also have to look at the way you want to produce the products. Do you buy machines to embroider or print the clothes yourself or do you outsource this to an external printing company?
You need to find a supplier for the clothes and a party who will help you with the shipping of the orders.
The branding of your company should also be considered. You need to come up with a name and logo that fits the image of your brand. Without branding, there will be no connection between your brand and the customers, so it is extra important to put a lot of time into this.
Subsequently, the garments must be provided with this brand name and logo by means of, for example, hang tags.
Pricing of clothes
Price setting is an important aspect for the success of a business. The target group you define is a very important aspect here. If you focus on the higher segment of the market, you can ask higher prices. However, you must take into account that products must be of high quality in order to create a good price/quality ratio.
And when focusing, you need to be low on price but also on the quality of products. You must, of course, continue to grab the necessary margins in order to remain profitable.
